A tragic event took place in my family in June 2012, when my wife suffered massive blood loss and cardiac arrest. It led to severe diffused brain injury, leaving her now into a state of mental dullness without her knowing what has transpired in her life until now.
I met my wife 19 years ago.
My wife is always very kind and compassionate to those around her, always giving and caring for those who are in need. Pinky is a God-fearing woman, [removed]always meticulously pursuing perfection in every area of her life. She has thought me the essence of trusting in God at all time and staying strong in times of uncertainty.
She's always been so positive in all her doings and she has remarkably strong yet humble character.
Rheanna, who is now aged 6, always recollects her days of being out with her mummy. She remembers mummy for being her companion and her mentor whom she now looks up to.
Now I am deeply involved in both of my children’s well-being. I will not have them shortchanged of a father's time, love, gifts, attention and physical affection despite the challenges we are going through.
So this is my life at present... Me, Rheanna and Ryan, now aged 1. We totally miss Pinky, who has always been a loving wife to me and an excellent mother to Rheanna. Pinky has yet to embrace her son, Ryan and she has yet to hear him laugh or even see his face the very second he was born.
I hope and pray each day that healing will come upon this family of mine and I stand grounded that Jesus will never leave me nor forsake me. I know for sure that in His time He will make all things beautiful. I cast all my cares and burdens in life upon Him, knowing that He will lovingly uplift me.
I believe that God will make a way where there seems to be no way, no matter how complicated or unsalvageable the circumstance may seem. It is the same faithfulness of God that I have experienced in other areas of my life that is keeping hope alive as I confront this personal battle at home. I believe that no matter what comes my way, God is still the source of my strength and hope.
“Lord my God, have mercy upon this family of mine. Heal us by your complete miraculous power into health and strength. We stand strong and in hope that the best is yet to come... In Jesus’ name, amen."
To Pinky, "I simply miss you, just too much. With tears rolling down my eyes each day, I can't wait to have you back in my life and into my arms. I eagerly await your embrace once again."
All of us are waiting for you. We love you, forever and ever.
